The course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.\nThe topics covered in this Basic First Aid course include:\n\nThe Red Cross\nPreparing to respond\nThe EMS system\nCheck, Call, Care\nAirway emergencies\nBreathing and Circulation emergencies\nFirst aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest\nWound care\n\nCertification: 3-year certification in Canadian Red Cross Emergency First Aid with CPR/AED (Level C)\nA permanent virtual certificate will be emailed to you upon successfully completing the course.\nYou will also be able to view your manual and certification online at any time through your MyRedCross account.
